DentistDr. Hawthorne grew up in South River, Ontario, and earned his Bachelor of Science from Laurentian University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Western Ontario.
After graduating in 1991, he joined Mad River Dental Centre in Creemore and purchased the practice in 2003, and has since sold the practice to Dr. McKee in 2026.
Outside the office, Dr. Hawthorne enjoys photography, golf, hockey, skiing, reading, travel, and spending time with his children, Veronica and Greggory.

DentistDr. Jordan McKee has been a patient at Mad River Dental Centre under Dr. Hawthorne’s care since she was 3 years old. She has since purchased the practice from Dr. Hawthorne in 2026.
After graduating from Collingwood Collegiate Institute, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and carried on to Western University for her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Her formal dental training was completed in 2015, but she takes part in regular continuing education, with her current area of fascination being in the fields of Biomimetic Dentistry, Pediatric Airway Dentistry & Myofunctional Therapy.
Dr. McKee loves working with patients of all ages, including children and infants. She thinks it is never too early to set little ones up for success on their oral health journey.
Dr. McKee spends her spare time with her husband and two young children. They can often be found hiking or cycling along the beautiful trails our area has to offer.
